On Saturday afternoon, the Chargers announced a handful of transactions ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Broncos.
With wide receivers Keenan Allen and Joshua Palmer both already ruled out this week, the Bolts are signing wideout Keelan Doss to the active roster. The 6’3, 215-pounder led the Chargers in both receptions and receiving yards during the 2023 preseason. The team is also elevating defensive tackle Christopher Hinton and offensive lineman Austen Pleasants. Hinton has played in five regular season games over the past two seasons for LA while Hinton has been a mainstay on the practice squad since signing with the team as a UDFA following the 2022 NFL Draft.
The Chargers also announced that they’ve fully downgraded linebacker Tanner Muse to out for Sunday’s game after choosing not to activate him from injured reserve. Starting linebacker Kenneth Murray was listed as doubtful on Friday which means the Chargers could be rather thin at the position in Week 17.
