For the second practice this week, both wide receivers Keenan Allen and Joshua Palmer did not participate while still spending time off to the side working individually. After a career year up through Week 14, Allen continues to be sidelined by a heel injury and has now all but missed his chance to firmly plant himself further in team record books.

Linebacker Kenneth Murray was downgraded from a limited participant on Wednesday to a non-participant Thursday. His availability against the Broncos will be something to watch. Should he miss this week, expect Nick Niemann to take over next to Eric Kendricks.

As for players who trended in the right direction, left tackle Rashawn Slater and defensive tackle Nick Williams were upgraded from limited to a full participants on Thursday.

Offensive tackle Trey Pipkins, edge rusher Joey Bosa, cornerback Deane Leonard, and tight end Nick Vannett were limited for a second time this week.
