The Chargers have their third turnover of Week 16 as Alohi Gilman rips the ball from James Cook’s arms in the fourth quarter.
The Buffalo Bills’ were attempting to stretch a two point lead in the fourth quarter as they chase a playoff berth on the back of a strong run of form. They handed the ball to their electric back Cook who is in the midst of a break out season after starting slow having been drafted out of Georgia.
Alohi Gilman met him at the second level and he stood the Bills’ back up before ripping both arms up from underneath the running back’s grip on the football. This is becoming Gilman’s trademark strip attempt as he has done this several times utilising his naturally low and strong stance against taller offensive weapons.
The Chargers were then left in great position and took more points off of turnovers as Cameron Dicker hit a 53-yard field goal to take a one point lead.
