Chargers open as 3-point underdogs to the Raiders on TNF

The odds have swung seven points since Justin Herbert was revealed to have a fractured finger on his throwing hands. Can Easton Stick lead the Chargers to a double over their AFC West rivals?

Good Morning, Bolts From the Blue

The Chargers are going into Week 15's TNF game against the Las Vegas Raiders as a field goal underdog. There was a very short window in which the Chargers were actually four point favorites going into this week however that was before Justin Herbert left Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos with what has now been revealed to be a fractured right index finger. Since that injury occurred the odds have swung seven points which is essentially saying that Easton Stick is a touchdown worse in betting terms than Herbert.

The current odds ahead of TNF

The DraftKings Sportsbook oddsmakers have made it clear that they think the Chargers offense is going to struggle because they have the Bolts as underdogs despite the Raiders failing to score a single point against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14. With both offenses really struggling for points the total has been set at a very low 34 points.

The Bolts beat the Raiders 24-17 in Week 4 in a game where Khalil Mack had a career best six sacks and he running game came through for the offense that night. Both the defense and running game will have to step up in Herbert's absence in order to support Easton Stick in what will surely be his first career regular season start.

What do you think, Bolts From the Blue? What bets would you place on this game?
