On Thursday, it was announced that SoFi Stadium in Inglewood will be one of 16 stadiums that will play host to games during the 2026 World Cup in North America. Other prominent NFL venues that are also set to host will be MetLife Stadium, HardRock Stadium, Arrowhead Stadium, and AT&T Stadium.

The news comes as the 2022 World Cup host country of Qatar continues their final preparations to host this year’s event which is scheduled to run from November 21 to December 18.
