The Chiefs defense is allowing a league-worst 469.0 yards per game and that may be just what the doctor ordered for a Chargers offense (18.5 PPG) that has had a heck of a time getting into the end zone.
Specifically, they've the Chiefs have allowed 13 receptions to the tight end position that have gone for 186 yards, including 76 yards to the Browns' David Njoku in week one.
That's why I believe Jared Cook could be in store for a notable performance in which he finally gets into the end zone as a Charger.
The former Saint has been fairly consistent through two weeks with eight catches on 13 targets for 74 yards. Against KC, I'd expect him to land somewhere in the realm of four to five catches and that high chance for a score.
But I'll now flip this over to you all. Who is a Chargers player that you believe could be in for a surprising performance against the Chiefs? Let us know in the comments below.
