Chargers vs. Cowboys Week 2 Second Half Game Thread

Time to finish strong!

NFL: Los Angeles Chargers at Washington Football Team Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

That first half left a pretty bad taste in my mouth and I’m sure it’s not much different for all of you.

The Chargers committed nine penalties in the first half. Eight of those came in the second quarter. Both Keenan Allen and Corey Linsley have two penalties, apiece. The Chargers are incredibly lucky to have gotten that roughing the kicker penalty and unfortunately they weren’t able to turn the drive into points.

Vizcaino missed the attempt and Trey Pipkins tore a man’s facemask off. It cannot get much worse and somehow they’re only down three.

Luckily, they’re getting the ball to begin the second half. This would feel a whole lot better if they were able to tie, or even take the lead, before the end of the half.

On a more positive note, I absolutely LOVE seeing the amount of interaction in the game thread. Continue to be awesome. Let’s finish strong in the second half.
