NFL: Los Angeles Chargers at Washington Football Team Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, Chargers fans and welcome to the first #VictoryMonday of the 2021 season!

Luckily, similar to last season, we didn’t have to wait all that long. But here’s to hoping there’s not some massive losing streak to follow it up! (Knocks on wood feverishly)

No matter how close and how frustrating yesterday seemed at times, the Chargers got the dub and we’re sitting pretty with a 1-0 record. I hope you all enjoyed the day and got to ring in the season exactly the way you wanted.

I unfortunately was whisked away to a wedding within 15 minutes of the game ending so I wasn’t able to bask in that winning glow for long.

Either way, enjoy Victory Monday and please feel free to discuss yesterday’s game even more in the comments below.

Lastly, we had over 600 comments in the game thread! That’s amazing! Going forward, I’ll be sure to throw out a second half game thread so it’s not as clunky and convoluted. I appreciate all of you and can’t wait until next week for the home opener inside SoFi Stadium.

Now for today’s links.
