Joey Bosa is an “unstoppable force” in Madden 22

No surprise here.

As predicted, Joey Bosa became the next Chargers player to be unveiled with an x-factor in the upcoming edition of Madden. The Big Bear will start the season with the “unstoppable force” ability which — when said player enters the zone (another mechanic in the game) — he’ll see a dramatic increased in his win rate and block shed speed against one-on-one pass blocks.

Other players who own this x-factor include Myles Garrett, Khalil Mack, T.J. Watt, Danielle Hunter, Cameron Jordan, and DeForest Buckner.

Here’s what the developers had to say about Bosa and why he deserved the unstoppable force x-factor:

“Joey Bosa wields a lethal swim move that can turn any offensive lineman into a turnstile. That skill set allows Bosa to break through blocks with ease.”

After a season that was riddled with injuries, I don’t think there’s anyone more motivated to bounce back than Bosa, himself. He finished the 2020 season with 7.5 sacks and that’s likely far from what Bosa expects from himself at this point in his career. We all saw during the Bills game what he can look like when everything comes to together so here’s to hoping that the entire 2021 season comes anywhere close to that type of domination.
