The Chargers are seven days into training camp with six official sessions under their belts, including one off day and another day of pads that really only last about three quarters of the usual practice time.
Like a normal training camp, there hasn’t been a lack of big plays and standouts on either side of the ball. With each day comes a new highlight or viral moment and that’s exactly what you want to see from your team that happens to play in one of the sports capitals of the world.
For today, I want to hear about the players that you believe have been the biggest standouts up to this point in camp.
For me, I think I’m stuck between either Tyron Johnson or Josh Palmer. Both receivers are gunning for playing time behind Keenan Allen and Mike Williams and they’ve each already had their fair share of highlight catches in camp. T-Billy has consistently gotten behind the defense for several deep touchdowns while Palmer has shown a knack for making the acrobatic, off-balance catch look routine.
Both just flat out look GOOD and it’s tough to imagine either of them standing on the sidelines all that often during Sundays this season. With the team’s first preseason game just a little over a week away, I couldn’t be more excited to see those two perform.
Let me know your choices in the comments below and don’t forget to tell me why, as well.
And now for today’s links.
