Chargers fans finally got what they’ve waited so patiently for as Justin Herbert received the mic’d up treatment for Tuesday’s practice.
The second-year quarterback didn’t necessarily “take advantage” of the moment as much as he tolerated the whole event. Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable watch from start to finish.

From the jump, you could tell that Herbert is much more relaxed with a year under his belt. He’s laughing, pointing jokes at teammates, and even called out Cortez Broughton (jokingly) about his egregious parking job that day.
The rest of the video was made up of Herbert tossing various passes and eventually ended with him making bets with Chase Daniel that he could make a field goal post practice. Herbert made the first field goal and when Daniel challenged him double or nothing, number 10 hooked it to eliminate all debts between the two.
Overall it was enjoyable to get an inside look to a normal day of practice for QB1 and unlike what Herbert said to begin the video, I hope there’s plenty more of these to come in the future.
And now for today’s links.
