In a recent preview for HBO’s new show “The Shop”, Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady was quoted, in reference to his free agency a year ago, “One of the teams, they weren’t interested at the very end. I was thinking, ‘You’re sticking with that motherf—ker?’”
This quote got a lot of people talking about who Brady was actually referring to. As far as we all knew, the Bucs and the Chargers were supposedly the two most-interested teams at the end of it all. Tyrod Taylor was also still the presumed starter at the time and this is why I think many believe the G.O.A.T was referring to the Bolts. The Chargers DID end up sticking Tyrod for the 2020 season and we all saw how that turned out. So, if Brady was referring to the Bolts in that quote, I don’t think anyone could really blame him for keeping another receipt.

But what do you all think? Was Brady likely talking about Taylor and the Chargers here or was there another team that makes sense? Let me know what you think.
