Rookie minicamp being a little over a week away means that Chargers fans will finally be able to find out which players will wear which numbers this season. However some players’ numbers may simply be place-holders until the team makes final cuts. With the new rule this year that expanded eligible jersey numbers for the majority of positions, there’s some added intrigue about which players will stick with traditional numbers or go big with a new single-digit number.
Atlanta rookie tight end Kyle Pitts is the first rookie this year to have been assigned a single digit number as he’ll be wearing number eight for the Falcons.
For those who have been waiting to see the Bolts back on a field in any capacity, that time is almost here for the rookies!
