I did this exercise last year prior to the NFL draft and it seemed like people were enjoying it so let’s go ahead and bring it back for this year.
This is an exercise where I’ll essentially put together a seven-round mock draft (one post per round) and I’ll list six to eight realistic prospects that at least have some relative chance of being available when the Chargers select in that round. The later rounds may get a bit more difficult when it comes to predicting which prospects will still be on the board, but this is all for fun so we’re not too worried about that.
The Chargers should be able to pick from several players at positions of need when they’re on the clock later this month. Whether that’s offensive tackle, guard, cornerback, or edge rusher, there should be someone of note.
Will the “offensive line or bust” majority be happy with your selection? Will the JackBoyz?
So go ahead and make your pick. The Chargers are on the board. Who are they taking?
