POLL: Grade the selection of Rashawn Slater

The Chargers completed their re-tooled offensive line by selecting Northwestern offensive tackle Rashawn Slater with the 13th-overall pick in Thursday’s opening round. After allowing Sam Tevi, Forrest Lamp, and Dan Feeney to walk in free agency, as well as releasing Trai Turner, the Bolts have officially replaced them all with Slater, Matt Feiler, Corey Linsley, and Oday Aboushi. Bryan Bulaga is the lone holdover on the line, and all of a sudden this team has its best front five — at least on paper — in over a decade.

At the time of the pick, other offensive lineman like USC’s Alijah Vera-Tucker and Virginia Tech’s Christian Darrisaw were still on the board. Slater was the consensus best player available, so this selection was a no-brainer.

Obviously there’s a chance some people would have preferred someone else (crazy, I know) so I wanted to run a simple poll by you all.

I believe this pick is a sterling A+, but now I want to hear from all of you.
