In case you missed it on draft night, below is the video of the moment Tom Telesco called Rashawn Slater in the green room to tell him that they’re making him the Chargers’ first-round pick.

It’s an incredibly emotional and intimate moment for a draft prospect that really gives fans an initial inside look at their newest star. The thoughts and feelings swirling through his head are probably so intense that finding the right words are probably hard to find.

I don’t know about you, but it’s one of the best things about draft day, to me. There aren’t many situations where you can watch the literal seconds where a person’s life changes forever.
