Things will be much more in the way of “normal” this year when it comes to the 2021 NFL draft. While many prospects and teams will still abide some form of safety protocol, the league is allowing players to attend the event in person should they accept their invite. Fans will also be allowed in small “fan pods” for each team, as well.
Now for the important news: Roger Goodell is fully-vaccinated and prospects will once again be able to embrace the commissioner following their selection. Bring on the bro hugs and handshakes!
Below is the final list of 13 top draft picks who will be in attendance next week, which includes several prospects that should be at the top of the Chargers’ board this year.

Players like Northwestern offensive tackle Rashawn Slater, cornerback Patrick Surtain II, and wide receiver Devonta Smith — all mocked at one point or another this offseason to the Bolts — will be in attendance.
Other players that could land with the Chargers in a surprise move who will also be in attendance include Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons, Virginia Tech cornerback Caleb Farley, and fellow Bama wideout, Jaylen Waddle.
