Per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Titans are signing former Chargers linebacker B.J. Bello to a one-year deal.

Bello originally signed with the Bolts on September 30 of last year after spending the first three seasons of his NFL career with the Browns, Cardinals, Texans, Packers, and Jets. He began his career in Cleveland after signing on as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 draft.

Bello spent the majority of the 2020 season on the practice squad. However, when the Bolts’ special teams unit’s performance sank to the bottom of the NFL world, Bello was promoted alongside 2020 UDFA Cole Christensen to the active roster in Weeks 11, 12, and 14 and the two were given the opportunity to show that they can help make an impact in the third phase of the game.

By the end of the season, the former Illinois State product finished with seven total tackles.
