In recent days, it has seemed like the position pool the Chargers will eventually pick from with the 13th-overall selection has only grown wider. At first the team’s choices were only offensive tackle or cornerback. Now you’re able to throw in edge rusher and wide receiver with each one having a somewhat sound argument of support behind them depending on how the first 12 picks of the draft play out.
Over at BetMGM.com, they recently released the odds for what position the Chargers will inevitably select, and the favorite is, unsurprisingly, the offensive line. Cornerback comes in at second with wide receiver and defensive lineman coming in close behind. Lastly, linebacker is a distant fifth.
Here are exact odds for each position:
- Offensive lineman +110
- Cornerback +400
- Wide receiver +450
- Defensive lineman +500
- Linebacker +1200
These odds are pretty spot on, yeah? Tell me what you all think.
