In his lone year with the Bolts Vigil started just two of 15 games he played in, but managed to make more than his fair share of impact plays, especially for a depth player.
In the season opener against his former team at Cincinnati, Vigil recovered a pivotal fumble that helped shift the momentum in the Chargers’ favor as they managed to slide by after a shanked field goal.
Despite not being on the field for a significant amount of snaps, Vigil just seemed to have a knack for being around the ball. He finished the season with 50 total tackles, three tackle-for-loss, and a career-high two sacks while forcing one fumble and recovering two others.
