Good morning, all. Happy Hump Day.

Today’s discussion is going to be centered around the possibility and realism behind the Chargers and a potential move to sign former Houston Texans star, J.J. Watt.

Watt and Houston mutually parted ways after both sides saw the writing on the wall for his future with the franchise and the former three-time Defensive Player of the Year in the NFL is now looking for a new home. Specifically, one that will let him chase a ring in his remaining years.

So I want to know: Should the Chargers take a page out of the Rams booklet and make a power-move to sign Watt in pursuit of winning a Super Bowl as soon as possible? As far as I can see, it’s not like that method has come back to bite the Rams in the butt ... yet. But truly, with a quarterback on a rookie contract, there is no better time to make some magic happen with the cap while trusting that the scouting department can find some early-impact players in this year’s draft.

These are just some preliminary thoughts, so not my final opinion on the matter, but hopefully that helps start the conversation. Let me know all of your thoughts in the comments below.
