SB Nations Reacts: Chargers fans beginning to worry after 2nd-straight loss

Confidence is faltering, but it’s no time to worry.

Chargers vs Cleveland Browns in Inglewood, CA.

Following the Chargers’ 27-24 loss to the Patriots this past Sunday, the confidence level in the team by the fan base is finally seeing a bit of a dip. As for the bookies, the Chargers opened as 3-point favorites over the Philadelphia Eagles this week, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

According to this week’s results from our SB Nation Reacts survey, the confidence level in the Chargers has dropped from 100 percent to 75 percent. This is the lowest the confidence level has ever dropped and only the second time all season that the confidence level was less than 100 percent.

As for the pulse of the NFL, according to all participants across the country in this week’s Reacts, the majority believe the Chargers will come out on top against the Eagles.

Finally, following the potential season-ending injury to running back Derrick Henry, we asked fans who they felt would be the best running back in fantasy football the remainder of the season. Alvin Kamara got the majority of votes with 36 percent with Jonathan Taylor coming in a distant second with 17 percent. Ezekiel Elliott, Aaron Jones, and Austin Ekeler all tied for third with 12 percent of the votes.
