The Chargers’ first injury report of the week was released today and it’s unfortunately a bit bigger than we have gotten used to this season. Seven names make up the report with Justin Herbert certainly being the biggest name that stands out at first glance.
Herbert was listed at a limited participant with a right hand injury. This shouldn’t be that big of a surprise as it was noted that Herbert hit his hand following a throw against the Patriots. As far as things look, he’s likely in no danger of missing this week’s game.
As for those who sat out Wednesday’s session, Michael Davis is currently dealing with a hamstring injury, Alohi Gilman has an ankle issue, Justin Jackson is nursing a quad injury, and Asante Samuel Jr. is recovering from a concussion.
Austin Ekeler and Drue Tranquill were also on the injury report but both were full participants.
