Good morning, Chargers fans!

The Chargers get another tough opponent this week in the Browns who are currently 3-1 and coming off a 14-7 road victory over the Vikings.

Combining a dynamic rushing attack with a ferocious defensive front, they’ve got the makings of a top team in the NFL and it’s a big reason they’ were a blown lead to the Chiefs away from being undefeated on the season.

In a big game like this, it’ll be all hands on deck. The stars of the Chargers must play like stars and the role players must come through when given the opportunity.

In a game like this, who is a Chargers player that you believe needs to step up in a big way? My choice is right tackle Storm Norton.

He’s been given an incredible opportunity to start for a good football team in place of the injured Bryan Bulaga. Unfortunately for him, he’s being forced to matchup with a number of top edge rushers in the process. This past week, he saw Maxx Crosby on most snaps. This week, he’s expected to see Jadeveon Clowney. Heck, even the after next against the Ravens, he’ll likely see Justin Houston. It’s not been an easy time for Norton, but this is where good players are forged. He’s going to — hopefully — come out a better player than he was before this season started.

If the Chargers hope to not see their offense derailed early and often in this week’s game, Norton’s play on the edge will be key. He’s done enough the past two weeks to help the Chargers win and here’s to hoping he’s able to take another step forward on Sunday.

Who is your player that must step up against the Browns? Let us know in the comments below.
