The Chargers are currently without their top two cornerbacks in Michael Davis and Asante Samuel Jr. Davis has already been ruled out and Samuel was just recently helped to the medical tent after allowing a first down catch.
In their places, the Chargers will use Tevaughn Campbell and offseason signee Ryan Smith.
Despite the injuries, the Chargers have done a decent job at limiting the Patriots through the air thus far. However, the run defense continues to be a huge issue. If New England continues to run the ball the way they are, it won’t matter who the Chargers have out on the boundary.
Michael Davis has been downgraded to out and Justin Jackson (quad) is questionable. https://t.co/yAb5T6CGus
