The Chargers will once again be without defensive tackle Justin Jones for a third-straight game with a calf injury. Jones looked to be on pace to return this week after a pair of limited practices on Thursday and Friday but took a downwards turn by not participating in this week’s final practice.
Chris Harris Jr. was a limited participant in all three practices this week and should be on track to return against the Raiders.
In a scary development earlier today, Kenneth Murray went down in practice while holding his lower left leg. Luckily for the Chargers, the injury doesn’t seem to be as bad they initially feared. Murray is currently listed as questionable heading into Monday and is receiving a MRI to confirm the severity of the injury.
#Chargers LB Kenneth Murray is getting an MRI now, but sounds like a rolled ankle based on the initial word, source said. Practice injuries are never good, but this doesn’t figure to be as bad as it sounded.
