Drue Tranquill OUT vs. Ravens, Mike Willliams questionable w/ knee injury

The Bolts will be without another starting linebacker against Baltimore.

In what shouldn’t come as a surprise, the Chargers will be without linebacker Drue Tranquill for this week’s game against the Ravens. On the Chargers’ final injury report for week six, Tranquill is the only player with an OUT desgination. Wide receiver Mike Williams and safety Nasir Adderley are both listed with QUESTIONABLE tags. Williams is currently dealing with an apparent knee injury while Adderley is dealing with a hip injury.

In Tranquill’s place, expect to see 2021 sixth-round rookie Nick Niemann make his first career start in the NFL. The former Iowa Hawkeye led the Chargers in tackles during the preseason and displayed quite the nose for the football.

Should Williams end up sidelined on Sunday, expect a bigger load for both Joshua Palmer and Jalen Guyton. If the same ends up being said for Adderley, Alohi Gilman would be the one to step in and take over that workload.
