On Tuesday morning, the Chargers announced the signing of 10 players to reserve/future free agent contracts.
Those players are running Darius Bradwell, cornerback John Brannon, punter Lachlan Edwards, defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko, offensive guard Nate Gilliam, offensive guard Ryan Hunter, wide receiver John Hurst, wide receiver Jason Moore, defensive tackle T.J. Smith, and cornerback Donte Vaughn.
Of the 10 players signed, Bradwell, Brannon, Fehoko, Moore, and Vaughn were the only ones to see playing time in a game. Of those five, Fehoko, Brannon, and Moore were the only ones to see non-special teams snaps.
With the Chargers in the market for a new head coach, it will be interesting to see just how long some of these players end up sticking around. Bradwell and Fehoko became fan-favorites from their time on HBO’s Hard Knocks and it’ll certainly be unfortunate if the next coach isn’t as fond of them as we all are.
we've signed 10 players to reserve/future contracts.
