The Titans lost to the Ravens 20-13 on Sunday in their wild card matchup, meaning offensive coordinator Arthur Smith now has plenty of free time to tackle the head coaching circuit where he’s expected to he a very busy man.
According to a report from Adam Schefter early this morning, Smith interviewed last night with the Jaguars. Today, he’s scheduled to meet with the Jets, Falcons, and Chargers. Tomorrow he’ll meet with the Lions.

Smith is scheduled to interview today for HC jobs with the Jets, Falcons and Chargers, then the Lions on Tuesday.
Jets also interviewing Saints’ DB coach Aaron Glenn today for HC job.
Over the past two seasons, Smith has helped rejuvenate the career of quarterback Ryan Tannehill and built the Titans into a top-two rushing attack in the NFL behind the likes of workhorse Derrick Henry. In his past 31 games, Henry has rushed for an incredible 3,567 yards and 33 touchdowns. In 2020, Tannehill threw for 33 touchdowns to just seven interceptions to go along with seven more rushing touchdowns. Smith’s heavy usage of play action is a natural fit for Justin Herbert who saw a ton of success in the same manner.
At this moment, both Smith and Brian Daboll are my favorite choices for the Chargers due to their adaptable strategies they create week-in and week-out to maximize the players they have on the field. For a team like the Bolts who struggle to maintain consistency due to injuries, both would be welcomed additions to the franchise.
