Bills OC Brian Daboll didn’t get to relax all that much before he hit the interview circuit following the team’s 27-24 win over the Colts in Saturday’s wild card round.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Daboll has already interviewed with the New York Jets earlier this morning and is scheduled to interview with the Chargers sometime later today.

In his latest showing against Indianapolis, Daboll helped the the Bills 420 yards of offense with quarterback Josh Allen accounting for 378 of them with three total touchdowns (two passing, one rushing).

In 2020, Allen became the first quarterback to ever record a stat line that includes 35+ passing touchdowns, 4,500+ passing yards, and at least five rushing touchdowns in a single season.

In just 15 games this season, rookie Justin Herbert threw for 31 scores, 4,336 yards, and had five rushing scores. His 16 game pace would have put him just one passing touchdown shy of meeting all of those same thresholds as Allen. With that in mind, it’s tough not to think Daboll would be the perfect fit to get the most out of the Chargers’ budding superstar.
