Chargers LAtely Ep. 12: ‘Hard Knocks’ review, team captains, and injury updates

“GASP! Is that a new episode of Chargers LAtely?”

You’re damn right it is.

Welcome back, everyone. It’s been a hot minute since I recorded a new episode of the podcast and with week one here and in full swing, you know I had to get back on the grind.

Today’s episode is fairly short but I needed to get my thoughts out there on this year’s season of Hard Knocks and the most-recent topics regarding the Bolts. Aside from the show, we discuss the Chargers’ 2020 captains, all of which were voted on by the players. There are a few surprises among the five, but I think that adds some realness to the whole group when it’s not so predictable.

Lastly, we touched on the most-recent injury updates for Mike Williams, Justin Jackson, and Mike Pouncey. The first two were at practice today while the veteran center had another day off. As of now, we aren’t sure of the specificity of the injury, but we do know it’s unrelated to his season-ending neck injury suffered last year.
