It’s Fitzmagic and his incredible beard versus Minshew Mania and the ‘stache in what could be an underrated and entertaining game on Thursday night.
Both teams are underwhelming on paper and neither possess a ton of star power. For the Jaguars, that hasn’t stopped them from starting strong at 1-1 with a last-second loss to the Titans this past Sunday. Gardner Minshew is one of two quarterbacks this season (Russell Wilson) to throw for at least three touchdowns in their first two games.
Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn’t shown much magic up to this point, throwing for just a pair of touchdowns to three interceptions. If Miami starts this year 0-3, I bet we’ll get to see rookie Tua Tagovailoa much sooner than we all expected, granted that he’s also healthy and confident enough to do it.
