Some interesting news about the mysterious Tyrod Taylor injury has come to light in a recent report by NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
As it turns out, it wasn’t so much an injury that Taylor sustained during pre-game warmups, but more of a medical complication stemming from an injection to that area used to kill some of the pain he’d been experiencing throughout the week in practice.

During Anthony Lynn’s presser with the media, the Chargers head coach refused to go much further into detail about the situation other than confirming that there were “complications.” None of this is a surprise as coaches cherish insider information like that, especially when it comes to something ailing their starting quarterback.
It remains to be seen if Taylor will truly be handed back the reins so soon following something that labored his breathing so badly, but if he’s 100% healthy, as Lynn has said about 15 times since yesterday evening, then he’ll be the guy for the Chargers.
