It’s officially game day and the Chargers are just a mere 60 minutes away from taking the field for the first time against the Kansas City Chiefs in their first game ever inside SoFi Stadium.
In week one, the Chargers looked jumbled on offense as they managed to score just a single touchdown against the Bengals defense. This past Thursday, the Browns scored a whopping 35 on the same defense. That’s not a good look for a unit that includes a number of players among the top guys at their positions.
The Chiefs had to shake off some rust early on in their first game against the Houston Texans but it didn’t take long for them to find their stride en route to scoring 34 by the end of the night.
Today’s game is going to fall on the shoulders of the elites. The Chargers’ elite pass-rush will face the Chiefs’ elite offensive line. Kansas CIty’s elite pass-catchers are going up against the Chargers’ elite secondary.
It’s going to be must-watch football in SoFi, everyone.
Bolt up, baby.
