The Chargers offense struggled from start to finish, but Melvin Ingram and the defense carried the team to victory in a suspenseful 16-13 victory over Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.

The 2020 No. 1 overall pick didn’t throw a touchdown in his first outing, but he did rush for one. In the first quarter, Burrow snuck his way past the Chargers defense on a QB draw for 23 yards to secure the first Bengals touchdown of the year.

Tyro Taylor and the offense were able to tack on a pair of field goals to make the halftime score a very manageable 7-6 before Cincy tacked on a pair of there own on the other side of the half.

The Bolts finally got on the board in the fourth quarter thanks to the first career rushing score by rookie Joshua Kelley.

Randy Bullock missed the game-winning field goal.
