For you Madden fans out there that haven’t gotten the chance to get early access to the latest edition, I thought it’d be nice to give you all an easy look at the Chargers in action in a simulated game against the Washington Football Team.
The Bolts are rocking their home powder blues in this one but decided to go with the alternate gold pants to really make the whole ensemble pop.
Even in a virtual world, the team’s new SoFi Stadium is as majestic as you’d expect. The Oculus board is still a marvel to behold, as well.
Probably the biggest thing that makes things unrealistic — besides the whole video game thing — is that the stands are filled with fans. I mean, of course they are. I wouldn’t expect Madden to make them empty just because it’s a simulation, but it’s still odd to see given everything that’s happening now.
In the end, it’s probably a really nice escape from the reality of quiet and empty stadiums.
I won’t give the whole thing away, but it’s the Chargers defense that scores the first touchdown in this one. Oh, and of course it’s a pick six by a member of this elite secondary. I know it’s not real football, but it was surprisingly enjoyable to watch, so give it a shot if you’ve got some time to kill.
