A second construction worker has died at the site of SoFi Stadium, according to a statement from the joint venture overseeing the project.

The Los Angeles Times were the first with the report.

According to the Times, the worker — later identified as Simon Leo Fite — was found just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday after “exhibiting signs of a health issue.” This marks the second incident in the last 90 days that a worker has died while working on the $5 billion stadium, following the passing of Juan Becerra who fell over 100 feet from the stadium’s roof.

“His co-workers promptly summoned help and an onsite EMT and local paramedics responded,” Turner-AECOM Hunt said in response to questions from The Times. “Unfortunately, it is with great sadness we confirm that he passed away of what appears to be a personal health related cause.”

Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.

In other news from the site, four more workers were announced to have tested positive on Monday according to emails sent to trade partners. The total number of positives at the site is now 32. Per the aforementioned emails, two of the new positives are asymptomatic while another showed only “minor symptoms.”
