The news that the LA Chargers signed Joey Bosa to a record-breaking five-year extension came out of nowhere Tuesday afternoon.

It stunned you, me, and everyone else around the NFL landscape, but man did it feel good to finally see that headline flash across my Twitter timeline.

When big news like this gets dropped, one of my favorite things to do is scour Twitter for the best reactions and thoughts about it. Finding the best GIFs and fun facts associated with it can really addd to the moment.

One of my favorite tweets I found was from Senior NFL reporter Albert Breer, where he essentially showcased just how incredibly PAID this group of former Ohio State Buckeyes are now.

Unsurprisingly, someone turned Stephen A. Smith into a meme for the sake of this news and it is as enjoyable as you’d expect.

But for the most part, players around the NFL shared their thoughts and congratulations with the Big Bear getting what he’s deserved for a while now.

It started with his teammates ...

...then moved to other Ohio State alumni..

...and ended with other elite players at the position.

Also, former Chargers team writer Ricky Henne offered up this funny Bosa anecdote to cap things off.

It was a great day for everyone involved and a huge W for the fan base. Here’s to six more years of watching Bosa get after quarterbacks as the face of the franchise!

And of course, today’s links.
