The LA Chargers announced this week that they will be rolling out their new Charge Forward campaign to allow fans a choice of how they would like to handle their season tickets and all their investments in the event that they aren’t allowed to attend games in 2020.

First and foremost, the team is allowing fans who have purchased 2020 season tickets the opportunity to roll them over into the 2021 season or simply get back a full refund. If fans decide to rollover into next season, there will be a price freeze, so no extra payments will be necessary.

Members of the Charge Forward program will also have first dibs on available single game tickets for the 2020 season should the team allow fans to attend in person. If fans decide to receive credit for 2021, they’ll still have the opportunity to throw some of that credit back into this season if they choose.

On top of the aforementioned perks, members of the Charge Forward program will be invited to an exclusive fan event hosted by the Chargers to help kickoff the 2021 NFL season.

In incredibly unusual circumstances such as these, it’s great to see the team do the right thing and allow not only options, but flexibility within those options. If you’re a season ticket holder, let us know how you feel about the program in the comments.
