Only a few key decisions stand between us and the 2020 NFL season

Without even realizing it, we are already less than three weeks away from NFL players reporting for 2020 training camps. To catch everyone up to speed, NFL insider Ian Rapoport tweeted out everything we as a fan base know so far about what to expect in the upcoming month.

Per Rapoport, just about every variable that needs to be pinned down prior to the season getting underway has been figured out except the official number of preseason games to be played and overall testing protocols that the league will follow throughout the season.

In less surprising news, if fans are to attend games - depending on whether each individual team allows it or not - they must wear a face covering at all times.

Due to training camp practice schedules being tied directly to the preseason schedule, we will not receive any confirmation on exact dates until the number of exhibition games to be played has been decided upon.

To end on a positive note, since fans won’t be allowed at any training camp practices, the NFL will allow teams to host two “fan events” at their respective stadiums at their own discretion while following a strict set of protocols.
