With over a month left until any NFL team reports for training camp, there’s still plenty of time to relax, unwind, and enjoy the time left at home.
Rookie quarterback Justin Herbert is doing just that, and then some. In two days, Herbert will be participating in the latest Call of Duty: Warzone tournament sponsored by Chipotle, which is also being called the Chipotle Challenger Series 2020.
This weekend, June 27 and 28, will feature the first two qualifiers of four that will help qualify gamers for the final tournament on July 16. The tournament is open to players of all skill levels who will be playing alongside Herbert and a host of other NFL players and celebrities. Some of the most notable attendees include Von Miller, Kyler Murray, Baker Mayfield, rapper Offset from Migos, Finn Wolfhard from the Netflix show Stranger Things, and 2020 WNBA No. 1-overall draft pick, Sabrina Ionescu.
Winners of the tournament are set to earn a grand prize of $25,000, on top of a year’s supply of Chipotle.
The company will also donate another $25,000 to the National Urban League, which “advocates on behalf of economic and social justice for African Americans and against racial discrimination in the United States.”
