On the latest episode of Chargers LAtely I was joined by the newest Chargers wide receiver and their 2020 fifth-round pick, Joe Reed.

Reed was gracious enough to spend some time with me and discuss a number of fun topics, including his favorite play to run at UVA, what makes him so successful at returning kicks, when he realized he wanted to play in the NFL, and much more.

This past season, Reed was named a First-Team All-ACC pick as an all-purpose player on offense and a Second-Team All-ACC pick as a return specialist. Reed finished his 2019 season with a 33.2 average on kickoff returns and finished his career with 3,042 total kick return yards. As a receiver, he set career-highs across the board as a senior with 77 catches for 679 yards and seven touchdowns.

It was a blast getting to chat with this guy and I hope you all enjoy it, as well.
