On Tuesday, FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd laid out his top-10 NFL teams following the 2020 NFL Draft. Among the teams were three members of the AFC West, which included the Chargers at #8.
At #10, Cowherd listed the Denver Broncos. He really liked the weapons they added during the draft with wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler, and pointed towards them winning four of their final five games in 2019 as a reason to be high on the team going into the 2020 season.

As for the Chargers, here is Cowherd’s reasoning behind the #8 ranking:
“They had a sneaky free agency.” said Cowherd. “Pro Bowl guard Trai Turner, left tackle Bryan Bulaga, and a tremendous corner in Chris Harris. Then they moved up in the draft to get a starting linebacker from Oklahoma, Kenneth Murray. Remember, Tyrod Taylor has a winning NFL career record, that’s with rebuilding Cleveland and Buffalo. This is a really good football team.”
For those who don’t feel like listening through the entire video, here is the full top 10 list:
10. Denver Broncos
9. Minnesota Vikings
8. Los Angeles Chargers
7.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
6.) Seattle Seahawks
5.) Philadelphia Eagles
4.) New Orleans Saints
3.) San Francisco 49ers
2.) Kansas City Chiefs
1.) Baltimore Ravens
Unsurprisingly, the Chargers are one of the most-polarizing teams this offseason, which tends to be the case during every other offseason over the past five years. One media outlet that is refusing to buy-in to the usual LAC hype is Bleacher Report, who ranked the Bolts at #28 in their latest power rankings. That’s quite the difference in opinion.
After reading Bleacher Report’s reasoning behind their ranking, and now hearing Cowherd’s thoughts, which rank do you think is more deserving of the Bolts heading into the 2020 season?
