Chargers officially announced the signing of their 19 UDFAs

The Bolts focused their signings evenly on offense and defense

The Chargers announced on Saturday evening that they have come to terms with the following 19 undrafted free agents following the end of the 2020 NFL Draft.

(Will update throughout the day as I fill in information for each player)

DT T.J. Smith, Arkansas - 6’3 293 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 20 tackles, four tackles-for-loss, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble
  • Career stats: 75 tackles, 12 tackles-for-loss, five sacks, one forced fumble

DT Breiden Fehoko, LSU - 6’2 291 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 17 tackles, six tackles-for-loss, 0.5 sack
  • Career stats (2 years at LSU): 33 tackles, nine takckles-for-loss, two sacks

EDGE Joe Gaziano, Northwestern - 6’4 275 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 49 tackles, 17 tackles-for-loss, nine sacks, five pass deflections, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries
  • Career stats: 152 tackles, 49 tackles-for-loss, 30 sacks, 15 pass deflections, eight forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries

WR Dalton Schoen, Kansas State - 6’1 209 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 37 catches, 579 yards, four touchdowns
  • Career stats: 92 catches, 1,569 yards, nine touchdowns

EDGE Jessie Lemonier, Liberty - 6’3 240 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 80 tackles, 15.5 tackles-for-loss, 10.5 sacks, one forced fumble
  • Career stats: 135 tackles, 29 tackles-for-loss, 20.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery
  • Named to Phil Steele’s All-Independent Schools First Team

LB Asmar Bilal, Notre Dame - 6’2 227 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 79 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, two pass breakups, one fumble recovery
  • Career stats: 176 tackles, 17.5 tackles-for-loss, one sack, three pass breakups, two fumble recoveries

TE/FB Gabe Nabers, Florida State - 6’2 234 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 15 catches, 221 yards, two touchdowns
  • Career stats: 19 catches, 269 yards, three touchdowns
  • Spent first two seasons at FSU as a fullback before former HC Willie Taggert erased the position

S Romeo Finley, Miami - 6’1 213 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 54 tackles, four tackles-for-loss, one interception, three pass breakups
  • Career stats: 95 tackles, nine tackles-for-loss, three interceptions, one pick-six, eight pass breakups, one forced fumble

OT Ryan Roberts, Florida State - 6’6 300 pounds

  • Played one season at FSU after transferring from Northern Illinois
  • 2019: Started 12 games at right tackle and one at left tackle

TE Jared Rice, Fresno State - 6’5 243 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 32 catches, 307 yards, four touchdowns
  • Career stats: 113 catches, 1,365 yards, 11 touchdowns
  • Fresno State’s all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards for a tight end

CB Donte Vaughn, Notre Dame - 6’3 212 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 16 tackles, five pass breakups
  • Career stats: 57 tackles, one interception, 11 pass breakups

LB Cole Christiansen, Army - 6’2 225 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 112 tackles, 3.5 tackles-for-loss, 2.5 sacks, one pass breakup, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery
  • Career stats: 275 tackles, 20.5 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one interception, four pass breakups, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery

WR Jeff Cotton, Idaho - 6’2 204 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 88 catches, 1,141 yards, seven touchdowns
  • Career stats: 137 yards, 1,797 yards, 14 touchdowns

DB Kevin McGill, Eastern Michigan

  • 2019 stats: 30 tackles, two tackles-for-loss, 0.5 sack, one interception, five pass breakups
  • Career stats: 124 tackles, 5.5 tackles-for-loss, 0.5 sack, five interceptions, 22 pass breakups, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries
  • Started 40 of 50 career games played

DB John Brannon, Western Carolina - 6’2 195 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 55 tackles, one tackles-for-loss, three interceptions, five pass breakups, two fumble recoveries
  • Career stats: 90 tackles, four tackles-for-loss, seven interceptions, 11 pass breakups, two fumble recoveries

OT Josh Dunlop, UTSA - 6’7 300 pounds

  • 2019: Started every game at right tackle
  • Honorable Mention All-Conference USA selection
  • Will likely see time along the interior with the Chargers

FB Bobby Holly, Louisiana Tech - 6’1 252 pounds

  • 2019 stats: Seven catches, 46 yards, one touchdown / Five rushes, 13 yards, one touchdowns
  • Carer stats: 11 catches, 53 yards, three touchdowns / Nine rushes, 13 yards, one touchdown

FB/RB Darius Bradwell, Tulane - 6’1 230 pounds

  • 2019 stats: 111 carries, 484 yards, two touchdowns / Three catches, 13 yards
  • Career stats: 389 carries, 2,062 yards, 17 touchdowns / 10 catches, 57 yards
  • MVP of the 2018 AutoNation Cure Bowl

OG Nathan Gilliam, Wake Forest - 6’5 300 pounds

  • 12 starts at guard
  • 3rd-Team All-ACC
  • Allowed just one sack in 2019
