It’s finally here. Choose your favorite ‘It’s Happening’ gif appropriately.
The day we’ve been waiting for since the 2019-20 NFL season ended. The day we’ve been even more anxious for since all winter and springs sports were cancelled thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
It’s the 2020 NFL Draft!
The Los Angeles Chargers are slated to pick sixth overall and though we’ve discussed many an option for the Chargers at Pick 6, tonight we’ll finally know the direction that general manager Tom Telesco, head coach Anthony Lynn and their staff are going to go with their 2020 draft haul.
As it stands now, the Chargers are slated to select sixth overall and coverage will begin at 5 p.m. PT with each first-round selection allotted. Each team will have 10 minutes to make their selection virtually as all 32 teams will have their staffs placed throughout the country, making the selections remotely for the first time in league history.
Quarterback or not, the draft is taking place tonight and here’s how to watch:
ESPN and NFL Network are partnering to bring one singular broadcast and the rest of the streaming platforms will be carrying as well as your cable providers.
ESPN and NFL Network’s coverage will be broadcast on both networks, beginning at 5 p.m. PT on Thursday and will be hosted by Trey Wingo with remote contributions from Mel Kiper Jr., Rich Eisen, Michael Irvin, Kurt Warner among others.
ABC will show a separate broadcast during Days 1 and 2, starting Thursday night, featuring Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer and Maria Taylor.
