The latest episode of “Chargers LAtely” is hot off the press and today I was joined by my good friend Gavino Borquez, the man behind Chargerswire.com.
In today’s episode, you know we had to discuss the Bolts’ unveiling their new uniforms for the 2020 season. To be fair, we probably could have talked about them for the entire podcast without losing any enthusiasm. After we both agreed on our favorites combinations and went over just how much history the Chargers were able to pack into their six new game day options, we took turns listing our biggest “draft crushes” in this year’s class.
Gavino named a Group of 5 linebacker that has seen a recent rise across draft boards and a Division III offensive tackle who he thinks is a top-50 talent in this draft. I’m still stuck on a running back who spent this past season trying to run behind an offensive line that, at times, seemed no better than a cluster of corpses imitating a run block.
Since time was permitting, we also took turns giving our final thoughts on what we believe the Chargers will end up doing tomorrow night.
It was a ton of fun to chop it up with Gavino and I hope you all enjoy!
