I’ve honestly never seen anything like this.
The amount of effort and work being put into hyping the new Chargers uniforms has been immense and, quite frankly, the biggest tease of my entire life. No other franchise that has released or plans to unveil new uniforms has done anywhere near the amount of prep compared to the Bolts. It’s essentially at the point that if these literally aren’t the greatest uniforms on the face of the earth, we’re all going to riot.
The most recent piece of hype dropped by the team was a collective video containing the entire group of player and media member reactions to seeing the uniforms. Current players Derwin James, Austin Ekeler, Mike Williams, and Hunter Henry were all featured while former Bolt Shawne Merriman also made an appearance.

One of the biggest nuggets in the video is Williams saying, “Oh, they gave us the —-?!”
Ekeler also said something similar and I can’t put my finger on what that could mean. There’s been rumors thrown out there that the new color rush alternate could be a the all-navy kit that many fans loved from the past few seasons and I personally think that’d be sweet but the royal blue unis were also some of the best in the league.
By this time tomorrow, there is a chance we will finally know what the new uniforms look like and you all better get up early just in case so you don’t miss the chance to grab yours!
