Following Wednesday’s announcement by Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer that Rams center Brian Allen has tested positive for coronavirus, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the Broncos’ Von Miller has also tested positive for the virus.
Allen and Miller are the first two confirmed current NFL players to have tested positive.
NFL star and Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller has a confirmed case of COVID-19, his agent @JobyBranion of @VanguardSG tells me. The #Broncos star is at home resting and in good spirits. He plans to speak publicly tomorrow.

Per Rapoport, Miller is self-quarantining at home and is in “good spirits.”
One of the first NFL-related faces to test positive for the virus was New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton who announced he had tested positive earlier last month. Now, Miller becomes arguably the most-famous athlete in the country to have a confirmed case of the virus.
The 31-year old edge rusher is a eight-time selection to the Pro Bowl and has collected three All-Pro nods en route to 106 career sacks, all with the Broncos.
