Video games have become one of the most coveted means of entertainment ever since the start of this self-isolation phenomenon and it’s refreshing to see a number of sports media outlets taking full advantage of the trend by hosting tournaments that include current sports stars and other professional athletes.
Tonight, the fine people over at The Checkdown are hosting a single-elimination tournament to benefit coronavirus relief efforts and they’ve got some of the most exciting players in the NFL behind the sticks, including the Chargers’ Keenan Allen and Derwin James.

The other participants include the Chiefs’ Tyrann Mathieu and Tyreek Hill, the Browns’ Denzel Ward and Jarvis Landry, along with Deebo Samuel of the 49ers and Desean Jackson of the Eagles.
