Rivers finally has a home for the 2020 season.
Per Ian Rapoport, the Indianapolis Colts have agreed to a one-year deal with the 38-year old quarterback worth upwards of $25 million. He lands with two former Chargers offensive coordinators in Indy, Frank Reich and Nick Sirianni.
The #Colts get their deal done, agreeing to terms with QB Philip Rivers, source said. He gets roughly $25M. The bolo lands in Indy, while Indy continues its restocking with big pieces on both sides of the ball.

We’ve been saying for a long time that the Colts would be the perfect home for Rivers at this time of his career and it’s all finally come to fruition. Behind an offensive line that features guys like guard Quenton Nelson, and tackles Anthony Castonzo and Braden Smith. They have plenty of offensive weapons with receiver T.Y. Hilton, tight end Jack Doyle - and possibly Eric Ebron - along with Marlon Mack and Nyheim Hines coming out the backfield, Rivers shouldn’t have a shortage of help on his side of the ball while he’s in Indianapolis.
